Yeah... except it wasn't an "either-or" choice for FOX...
Just modified my mortgage to a 5 year fixed 3.99% APR with bi-weekly payments amortized over 30 years with the option to extend at the end of the 5 years (or anytime before that really). I would say the mortgage market right now is EXTREMELY good (if you have good credit).

“It's a quote from Austin Powers. It's funny because he dislikes intolerant people and yet he himself is intolerant of the Dutch. Really, I shouldn't have to explain that, it was aimed at middle schoolers.

Oh great, so now China will go from building death traps (have you seen the YouTube Chinese car crash videos?!?!) to just ***** cars..
what if you and your loved one had a terminal illness that could be cured if treated in time. at the early stages the treatment is actually very cheap, yet your insurance company charges way more than they should simply because they can make a profit, it so expensive you can't afford it at the early stages which also results in the illness becoming terminal which will necessitate even more expensive treatment.or how bout if you pay for your insurance for years and years, yet you contract a terminal illness that could also be treated, but whoops you made a mistake and had forgotten to list that you once had asthma growing up as a kid but it was now gone and is completely unrelated to your current condition. the insurance company not wanting to foot the bill for your treatment digs very extensively into your past and finds this out then repealing your coverage under the stipulation that you misrepresented your health history.there is no harm in earning a living, but these companies are vultures finding every excuse to make you pay and then finding every other excuse to deny providing said services you paid for. your defense is either out of some ill conceived dream that the theories and tenants of capitalism are actually practiced in reality or you are merely a shill who wishes you yourself can be a vulture as well if you are not one already.!

That's 100 percent my point. This article was about Nigeria and Nigerian churches, and offer anything outside of Nigeria. But both the Digg and the Fox News article headline just headlined it as "Africa."If you had an article detailing that antisemitism was on the rise in Italy, would you write a headline that said "Antisemitism on the Rise in Europe?" Of course you wouldn't because it wouldn't be accurate, and you'd see a million posts on Digg that say, "Excuse me, but Italy is not all of Europe..."This article was about a single country in Africa -- Nigeria, but the headline simply said "Africa" because in the minds of many it is still one big homogeneous blob on the map. So, for the record:"Excuse me, but Nigeria is not all of Africa." |
